Cooking: Ash-e jo (Barley) آش جو

Ingredients
Barley- 1 estekan
Rice- ½ estekan
Chick pea- half a can
Pinto beans- half a can
Spinach
Parsley- 1 dasteh
Cilantro- 1 dasteh
Green onion- 1 dasteh
Fried onion & garlic + kashk + mint for decoration (can also add inside)

Instructions– Wash the barley and rice together in a big pot. Add water to fill the pot over its half and put it to boil. Once boiled, lower the heat. Let it boil for 2.5 hours. During that time, cut the stem of sabzi and wash them twice. Mince the parsley and cilantro in processor and cut spinach and green onion manually. Put it aside. Peel the chick pees. Add sabzi, chick pea, beans to the pot all at once. Add salt, pepper, and spices. Boil for another hour. Get to decorations!
